About
CampusScoop is run by Tulane students. We think a site that asks you to trust it should tell you who's behind it.
Who runs this
The team decided this page should name real people rather than stay anonymous, and no names or roles have been supplied yet. Nothing has been invented in their place.
Options still under discussion: names and roles without photos or personal contact details; one shared venture address instead of individual ones; a faculty advisor named alongside the students.
Before publishing real names here, weigh the risk this creates. Reviewers on this site stay anonymous; the people named on this page do not. Whoever is listed becomes the person contacted when someone is unhappy about a post.
Why we built it
Everyone arrives at Tulane knowing the version of it that fits in a brochure. The rest you pick up in pieces, usually a semester later than would have been useful — which dorm to avoid, which requirement to take early, which advice was wrong.
That knowledge already exists. It's just stuck in group chats and in people who are about to graduate. This is an attempt to write some of it down.
What we're not
We're not affiliated with Tulane University in any way. Nobody at the university reviews, approves, or endorses what's posted here, and the opinions on this site belong to the students who wrote them.
We're also not a place to rate people. That's the first of The Rules and it's the one we enforce hardest.
Talking to us
A monitored address and a named owner are required before launch. No address has been chosen, so none is printed here.
